Meet Seán
Married with 4 children, Seán attended St. Paul’s College, Raheny, and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a degree in economics and politics.
He is a full-time Dáil Deputy and previously served as a Minister of State in the Department of Education and as Lord Mayor of Dublin.
He is an honest, decent and hardworking public representative with extensive experience of National and Local Government.
He is a strong advocate for Dublin’s Northside in public policymaking.
He is deeply committed to the ideal of public service and is never afraid to challenge the State bureaucracy in the interest of the citizen.
Seán subscribes to a caring social philosophy and as FF Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and as a member of the Dáil Committee on EU Affairs, he is a strong believer in liberal democratic values and in solving global problems through international organisations and multi-lateral diplomacy.
