Speaking today, Ardagh said, “This situation is deeply concerning for local residents and businesses who depend on An Post’s services for essential correspondence, including medical appointments, bills, and legal documents. The people of Dublin 12 deserve answers, accountability, and a reliable postal services moving forward.

“I will continue to engage directly with An Post and Gardaí as this investigation unfolds. My focus is on ensuring that any affected residents are kept informed, that services are restored fully, and that safeguards are put in place to prevent a similar incident from happening again,” she added.

Deputy Ardagh urged anyone in the community experiencing ongoing postal issues to report them to her office immediately so concerns can be escalated appropriately and she promised to provide regular updates as more information becomes available from both An Post and Gardaí.
