Meet John Crowley

My name is John Crowley, I’m from Ardfert Co. Kerry. I completed both my undergraduate and master’s degrees at Trinity College Dublin and am currently in the second year of my PhD at University College Dublin's School of Veterinary Medicine, where I focus on infection biology and veterinary parasitology.
I’ve always had a keen interest in politics, which led me to join Ógra during my first year at Trinity College Dublin in 2017 when I signed up with the Wolfe Tone Cumann during Freshers' Week. Since then, I’ve held several roles within the Cumann, including First-Year Rep, Secretary, Chair (for two terms), Vice-Chair, and Ordinary Committee Member.
I’ve been honoured to take on the role of National Council Secretary since 2023 where my responsibilities include ensuring that meetings are well-organized and records are accurately maintained.
